How to Compress a PDF for Email
Large PDFs are often rejected by mail servers or slow for recipients to download. A smaller copy is easier to send and keeps the original untouched.
Start with a copy
Keep the original PDF and compress a duplicate. This gives you a safe fallback if images or fine details need the full-quality file.
Check the result
Open the compressed PDF, review text and images, and compare its size with the attachment limit shown by your email provider.
